On this particular projects we used many techniques and applied different plasters in this small, but luxourios apartment in the centre of Amsterdam.
Clay plaster from roughly textured, fine finish and a sgraffito were the main theme of the apartment.
In the bathroom a lime putty floated plaster, matching the clay plaster colour and texture was applied on the areas that were not tiled.
In the kitchen, at the entrace, we plastered with lime putty base mortar and a three layer system fresco stucco, a large old brick wall with slight capilarities and a small wall heating system were plastered at the entrance.

This small sgraffito is not only a visual centrepiece, but a thoughtful meditation object.

The base colour of the sgraffito in the previous picture is reflected in this textured ochre clay wall that is covering a wall heating system. The rest of the room is done in a soft smooth beige, creating a lively combination in this small and transparent space.
